I accept it!

“Good morning Lord,” I enter with a smile that the Holy Spirit suggested to me. “Thank you Holy Spirit, I need you!” “Good morning my love.” He smiles back. I know I don’t deserve an audience with him, the smile, or his love, but he has offered it to me freely. And I accept it! I close my eyes and let his love wash over me. “Come walk with me, we have work to do, but it is from a place of rest and peace.” “Yes Lord, I receive and I let go of striving!” “Great idea!” And we walk together to begin our work. I sing “Goodbye yesterday I’m living in the light of a new day!”

Ezra 7:27-28 Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, and has extended mercy to me before all the king’s mighty princes.
