  • I abandon all!

    I abandon all!

7/25/26 “Good morning Lord! I love you so Lord!” He smiles and we begin to laugh. “Thank you for joy Lord! Thank you for your strength. Hallelujah!, you are worthy of all my praise! Lord will you equip me to do the jobs you have given me? I resign up for them all. Give me the proper boundaries and all the help. I want to do your will and serve you with my whole heart and life, but this time no trauma bonds or manipulation and no more thievery!” “Yes Krista and a lot of work has been done today, it is time for more joy and rest. Will you enter in?” “Yes Lord, now help me!” “I am my love.” He puts his arm around me and we walk to a lovely place to sit by the river.

7/26/26 I abandon all (myself) and take off running into the Center of My Garden. I run into the Master Gardener’s arms. “Lord I am yours!” I breathe a while, and he holds me close. “Now I know”, my voice cracks as I hold back tears and great emotion, “I know no weapon formed against me will prosper! And I am yours forevermore! Thank you! Thank you for breath and your life!” We set into the work the Father has for us today and into eternity. And all is well!

Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD.

  • Onward Christian Soldier!

    Onward Christian Soldier!

The Holy Spirit is helping me get ready this morning. I am being filled and a smile has come to my face as this happens. I have that beautiful robe of humility on and I have been prepared with a beautiful bouquet of daisies to hand the Master Gardener. What a joy! I enter: “Good morning Lord.” He receives me and the flowers with open arms. As he pulls me against his chest I take a deep breath. He pulls me just away enough to look me in the eyes. “I love you Krista, all is well, be strong, be courageous, I am here.” I collapse back onto his chest and say: “Oh thank you Jesus, and thank you for transforming me and the Center of My Garden! I ask for the peace of Jerusalem!”

It has been hot, not just in the temperature, but from the spiritual realm. Have you observed this for yourself and in general? I had needed correction, but I also needed to remain steady in what was being revealed. I am grateful I did not turn back, (in the past I have turned back, but that is what happens when you are in the f.o.g. and you don’t know it). Guilt and other emotions and lies tried to turn me aside, but the sky is now clear and though it pained me to see what was left after the fog lifted, I am happy with the truth and the growth it will produce. And today I say: “Onward Christian Soldier, he has made a way!”

    Deuteronomy 11:13-14 NKJV
‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, [14] then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

  • I just Was!

    I just Was!

“Good afternoon Lord.” “Good day my love.” “I had some discipline today Lord, and I am repentant.” We both smile. “Well we have work to do and let us enjoy each others company.” “Yes Lord, thank you!” I was not able to come into my garden early and then I needed time to be still before I did.

This morning I was relying on old ways and my own fix. I wasn’t trying to be stubborn, I just was. It was not in a loud and demanding way, but I kept picking things I had set down back up and I wanted my own way, in the end. How I became aware of what I was doing is I asked a question I had gotten an answer to again, the same day (believe me it wasn’t just once or twice). I was given permission for it, it hurts me to write this and relive it. Along with the permission there was a quiet holy anger. And just like that I broke my own heart. I apologized of course, but I realized that saying I was sorry was just the start. I then got still and quiet and asked for help, I needed to be reverent in order to move on. I decided to lay down that request, it was not what I needed. I was instantly forgiven, but I see I need his help to change. I don’t want my flesh or the enemy driving me into snares or fixes that don’t work. I am much humbled today!

    1 Peter 1:17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;

  • I resisted!

    I resisted!

“Good morning my King,” I bow. He takes my hand, smiles and we walk together. We are looking at what needs attention today. He is talking to me and pointing things out.

1Peter 1: 6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

It has been a day of resisting the flesh and the enemy, resisting that hard heartedness, and at the same time I have had to continue to set my forehead like flint and not back down. It is so very important to me to have grace, not judge and remain loving from my heart, but I am learning a new stronger way to stand and love. I found myself going very low before the Lord and speaking to my own heart to remain in love, then I had to resist emotion and tell the enemy I would not turn back or back down. I will not operate out of shame, guilt, codependency or bitterness. I feel like the entire gamut of emotions was pushed at me hard today. I can say I resisted and I am still standing. This is a good work God is doing in me. It was anything to change my stance, direction, turn me back, or stop me hearing from the Master Gardener. I am grateful it didn’t work.

  • A treasure, my Treasure!

    A treasure, my Treasure!

“Good morning Lord. It’s gonna be a bright sunshiny day!” “Indeed it is!” We begin to walk. “Lord I let go of what I expected and I look to you. Help me to speak to the vision you have.” He smiles and looks into my eyes. “Your pain will be turned into joy, just as mine did.” “Thank you Lord for the honor of a little suffering and the joy and for being yours. You are truly a treasure, my treasure!” “I love you Krista!” “I love you Lord!”

James 5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord-that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

It isn’t straight forward, the healing from narcissistic abuse. And not all relationships are as toxic in the system so learning new boundaries and not having a hardened heart is a bit tricky. I have found it comes down to my surrender, to the Lord and humility with a whole lot of trusting him and obeying even when I don’t understand. I love my life and the journey. God will use it for good! It has been a painful and sad day, but already the joy is taking over.

  • Let go Now!

    Let go Now!

“I will enter your gates with thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter your courts with praise…”, I enter with a song and gladness of heart. “Good morning my love.” “What are we about today Lord?” “There is pruning to do and a little sowing too. Let go now of what you expected and I am leading you!” “Yes Lord!” And we get to work!

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Today I had to let go further of what wasn’t working in my vertical garden. The good news is what I recently planted is working. So I let go what needed more sun and I am trying something I planted before in one pocket and a container. I also planted more of what is working. I just had to let go further. It is okay and I am pleased. It may have taken 3 rounds of planting, but I feel like it is good for my area and circumstances. I had not ever had the pleasure of growing where I live and it is shade so I have had much to learn and I am. Being patient with myself, but constant is also needed in my life. Good life lessons!

  • Off to the Ballpark!

    Off to the Ballpark!

7/18/26 I enter the Center of my Garden with a thin light filled robe with blue blossoms scattered on it. “Good morning my King”, I take a breathe, “Good morning, I love you”, he smiles and takes my hand and holds it next to his cheek. I sing: “I have decided to follow Jesus… no turning back!” We dance a while. “It is a day of rest, my love. I will lead you forward in what to do today. Keep praying!” “Yes Lord!”

7/19/26 “Good morning Lord.” “Good morning Krista.” We embrace. “Lord will you go to the game with me this morning and speak to me?” “Yes let’s go!” And we are off to the ballpark, (from my room of course)!

While at the game we took a little break and I want to share a link to a short we listened to from Joni Eareckson Tada. This is a wonderful reminder of what God looks to do for us and that our suffering matters to his heart too: Christ’s Joy at His Return https://www.youtube.com/shorts/QFaOxRkxfHE

I am learning the value of following his lead and just spending time with the Master Gardener. I am realizing that my understanding isn’t so needed. He knows what he is doing and creating in and through me. I just need to trust and follow!

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

  • Then do It!

    Then do It!

“Good morning Lord,” I smile and hand him the bouquet of white lilies that the Holy Spirit suggested I bring to the Master Gardener. “I love you Lord! I let go of my concerns, heaviness, and fears. I place them at your feet.” He smiles, “It is a new day after all Krista. It is a good day. We have spoils to reap and work to do, shall we begin?” “Oh yes Lord!”

When I see certain numbers I am often drawn to scripture. I want to share one with you. Often it is 12:12, but then as I paid attention I began to see 12:11 and I it took a while for me to realize the scripture before the 12:12 was being highlighted. Today I saw both back to back so I want to share Romans 12:11-12 with you. It is a good reminder for me and a great idea to follow. Romans 12:11,12 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; Sometimes we just need to do the next thing in front of us or be reminded to continue on in the first and foundational things. When that is all that is being asked of us, may we not think it a small thing, but something we can do and then do it!

  • Leave the Striving!

    Leave the Striving!

I ask the Holy Spirit to prepare me, I put on the robe of humility, he helps me with putting it on. “Good morning my King,” I smile and bow. “Good morning, look up at me my love. You are being taught, lead, refined ,and all is well. You may leave the striving at my feet. It is so good that you have kept coming back to me for help and wisdom. It is alright. I love you and you are growing in wisdom and discernment. You please me and you will continue to.” “Yes Lord, thank you! May desire not cloud my discernment, or wisdom, or receiving from you. I lay down all! You are my portion Lord, and that is enough and all!” “There is work to do today my love, but let us rest in the Father’s love this morning.” “Yes Lord, I need to be saturated in it!”

Psalm 34:32: The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

  • Like a weaned Child!

    Like a weaned Child!

“Good morning Lord, like a weaned child I have quieted my soul. What is on your heart and agenda for us today?” “Come to me and let me further quiet your heart and I will hold you. It isn’t easy to transition, but all is well.” I look up and smile, “Thank you!” “As you let go I will provide and lead you.” “Okay Lord, I do!”

This was a good reminder for me this morning: Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

The joy of the Lord is my strength. It is ok to have some pain and sorrow in the transitions. I definitely will not settle here, but it is important to pay attention to it and process it. Then it is ok to smile, be brave and enjoy the day! that is what I am making up my mind to do now. Denial usually lands one in over reaction eventually or a repeating of the same cycles, so facing things and sitting a while is a great idea. The Master Gardener is so good at amending our lives and gardens. I am so glad I do not have to do this life alone! Give us fresh oil today Lord, the oil of gladness!
