  • I Still Believe!

    I Still Believe!

As I enter closer into the Center of my Garden I sprint the rest of the way straight into the arms of Jesus! We are smiling and laughing! It is so good to be embraced by him. We share a greeting. “Lord,” I say, “What do you have for us today?” A butterfly goes past us as we speak. “Let us bring in the sheaves today!” “The sowing has been worth it Lord! I release the pain!” “Indeed it has been! All is well!” “Yes Lord, and I still Believe!” He smiles.

What is the most impactful for me today is the above statement that I still believe. What a good work he is doing in me and what a wonder I am becoming, I believe you are too!

  • Don’t Be Afraid!

    Don’t Be Afraid!

“Lord, I love you! Shall we walk, rest, and enjoy the garden today?” “Yes,” and he takes my hand. I just want to be with you! I want to look into your eyes.”

I had a fitful sleep last night. And just as I was getting sleepy I saw a little picture of a small wolf head, it was a color, but I can not give that away, for some it is too much information. It made me realize the spirit behind some of the warfare around me. Then a while later I saw a larger white wolf. This further confirmed what has been going on around me. Just when I feel asleep I awoke again because I had to write something else down. It was highly annoying because of lack of sleep, but now I see the wisdom in it and it was wise to sacrifice more sleep. I heard a well known minister giving a sermon. I leaned in to listen to his message and his statement surprised me. He said: “Don’t be afraid, they have turned on you!” Now this was funny in an ironic way. And I have laughed over it several times today. You see it was brilliant and perfect and very much true. It gave me the wisdom I needed to see more clearly and in saying not to fear it also means to not be in confusion. It is funny because the irony of a sermon that was delivered in an inspiring way saying oh don’t be afraid and then they have turned on you. So it was helpful and funny and one could wish it to not be true, but it is! If I had not woken up to write it down, I would have remembered some but not all and I needed every word just the way it was spoken. It was a good insight to a rather painful day of lessons learned. I am glad that later in the morning the above happened with the Master Gardener, it made for a wonder start to a new day. Thank goodness he is with me in the storm!

  • Instruction!

    Instruction!

“Good Morning Lord,” I say with a big smile. I look up into his eyes. “Good morning,” he smiles back. At the sight of his eyes and smile and I am put even more at ease, even in my body. Thank you for your touch, and your guidance. I need greater discernment and wisdom too.” “You are welcome and they are yours.” “I take a moment and receive them. “Lord is there any instruction on the Center of my garden today?” “Yes, pray and continue to prepare by my leading.” “Yes Lord!” “Lord is there any instruction for the personal space in the garden? And what about the outer space in my garden?” “I do have some instruction for those. Will you follow my lead and promptings today?” “Yes, Lord.” “Lead on and help me not to be spinning my wheels on distractions and get myself off on what you are not building and doing!” “I will” And it is time for coffee and fellowship before the days work begins.

  • Steady on!

    Steady on!

“Good morning Lord.” “Good Morning Krista.” We share a smile. “What needs attention today?” I noticed I have had need of encouraging myself. “Help me not to quit. Help me to quit on the ways that are not helping or yours!” “I am and will continue to!” “Thank you! You are working all things for my good!” “Yes!” “Lord I yield the plan for my entire garden to you. Give me the wisdom and steps for the Center, the personal and the outer part of my garden. Now what do you have for us to do today?” “Let us continue on in all the good works we have been doing. Steady on, my joy is your strength!” “Amen, thank you Lord- Yes!” And as I get back to work I am grateful the Master Gardener is working with me!

  • That Path of Obedience!

    That Path of Obedience!

I have arrived in the Center of my Garden this morning. “Like a weened child Lord, you have stilled and quieted my soul.” I am surrounded by elegance and beauty. “It really is beautiful Lord. You are beautiful!” He smiles.

“Lord you had said it was not an easy path you asked me to take. Is there any work we might do to continue to be prepared and stay on that path of obedience?” “Yes there is , thank you for asking. You must pray. You must abandon all preconceived ideas of what the fulfilment of my promises would look like, for your life.” “Ok, help me to let go, some ideas and places in me might be too settled, but is that what the storm is about?” “The storm was for destruction, but I have used it to uproot you from ideas settled on where the foundations were cracked and breached.” “Thank you and I let go. Will you help me to stop helping you where the battle isn’t mine, but yours?” ” Yes, but you must pray.” “On it Lord!”

  • And We Are Off!

    And We Are Off!

“Good morning Lord! I love you!” “Good morning my love!” “What are you leading us in today?” “Pray.” “Yes Lord,” and I do.

As I am praying I look up and notice the Master Gardener is wearing a conductors cap and dress, as well. “Follow me Krista today, tomorrow and each day beyond.” I get up and take his extended hand and with a smile and very much resolved I say, “Yes Lord! Lead me to the train. I am getting on board with you. Will you get me on track?” “Indeed I am!” And we are Off!

  • Let Go, Don’t Worry, Breathe!

    Let Go, Don’t Worry, Breathe!

“Lord, what shall we do today?” “Let go, don’t worry, breathe and rest, and pray!” “Ok Lord,” and I laugh. “I love being with you! You are wonderful! I love you and I trust you!” “Let’s walk on a while,” the Master Gardener says, while taking my hand, And we walk on together.

This was my encounter with the Lord today. We can be in the midst of change and difficulty and walk in joy, strength, clarity and peace, but not alone. I pray you would walk with Jesus today and that you would have his help in all you do today!

  • A Big Embrace!

    A Big Embrace!

A big embrace is the start to the new day in the Center of my garden. “Good morning Lord!” “Good Morning Krista,” the Master Gardener replies. “I need you, I want you, guide me today!” ” “I am and I will,” he smiles at me. “I let go of control and I will put my hands to the work you have for me!” “Good, shall we get started then?” “Yes Lord, let’s!” “Ok let’s start by praying for the peace of Jerusalem!” “Amen”, and we do!

After praying a while, I realized the prayer got me ready for the rest of the work. And as I sat on the park bench that the Master Gardener had placed recently in the garden, a wonderfully surprising thing happened and a new era of my life has begun and all I can say is He loves me! He loves you too! Spend some time with him and find out!!!!!

  • Pressure is Raising You

    Pressure is Raising You

    “Lord, how is it that python got into my garden?” “Pray.” “Yes Lord!” This scripture was brought to my attention while in prayer: Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Much later: “Lord?” “Yes Krista?” “After getting the python out of the garden there was a lot of pressure, and I mean a lot!” He chuckled a little and said, “Yes Krista, quite a bit” “Is that growing, is that the process of my freedom? Is it the pressure as the storm is building?” “The pressure is raising you up higher and will take you above the storm. Let it continue!” “Yes Lord, thank you!” “You are welcome sweetheart!”

  • You Are My Destination!

    You Are My Destination!

“Lord let’s enjoy this beautiful garden and the work we have done in it! Thank you for all your care and instruction!” “You are welcome !” “I love you!”, we both say. “May I ask a question or two?” “Yes”, he says with a smile. Those eyes, Lord how beautiful, how lovely, how passionate, how fierce! “I just want to be with you!” I forget the questions.

As I am in his presence I sought his help and I am putting on the full armour spoken of in Ephesians. I will continue to drink of his love.

“Lord give me focus, discernment and clarity, with courage to move forward with you. Help me to face what I need to face, even in my own garden. Lead me in truth and love. I have no home, no destination , no purpose apart from you. You are my destination! Lord, I will continue on, correct my movement that I might not stray from your path. Correct any missteps. I humble myself before you! For I will please you! Not by power, not by might, but by your Spirit!” “Amen!”, we both say in turn.
