    Let Go, Don’t Worry, Breathe!

“Lord, what shall we do today?” “Let go, don’t worry, breathe and rest, and pray!” “Ok Lord,” and I laugh. “I love being with you! You are wonderful! I love you and I trust you!” “Let’s walk on a while,” the Master Gardener says, while taking my hand, And we walk on together.

This was my encounter with the Lord today. We can be in the midst of change and difficulty and walk in joy, strength, clarity and peace, but not alone. I pray you would walk with Jesus today and that you would have his help in all you do today!

  • A Big Embrace!

    A Big Embrace!

A big embrace is the start to the new day in the Center of my garden. “Good morning Lord!” “Good Morning Krista,” the Master Gardener replies. “I need you, I want you, guide me today!” ” “I am and I will,” he smiles at me. “I let go of control and I will put my hands to the work you have for me!” “Good, shall we get started then?” “Yes Lord, let’s!” “Ok let’s start by praying for the peace of Jerusalem!” “Amen”, and we do!

After praying a while, I realized the prayer got me ready for the rest of the work. And as I sat on the park bench that the Master Gardener had placed recently in the garden, a wonderfully surprising thing happened and a new era of my life has begun and all I can say is He loves me! He loves you too! Spend some time with him and find out!!!!!

  • Pressure is Raising You

    Pressure is Raising You

    “Lord, how is it that python got into my garden?” “Pray.” “Yes Lord!” This scripture was brought to my attention while in prayer: Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Much later: “Lord?” “Yes Krista?” “After getting the python out of the garden there was a lot of pressure, and I mean a lot!” He chuckled a little and said, “Yes Krista, quite a bit” “Is that growing, is that the process of my freedom? Is it the pressure as the storm is building?” “The pressure is raising you up higher and will take you above the storm. Let it continue!” “Yes Lord, thank you!” “You are welcome sweetheart!”

  • You Are My Destination!

    You Are My Destination!

“Lord let’s enjoy this beautiful garden and the work we have done in it! Thank you for all your care and instruction!” “You are welcome !” “I love you!”, we both say. “May I ask a question or two?” “Yes”, he says with a smile. Those eyes, Lord how beautiful, how lovely, how passionate, how fierce! “I just want to be with you!” I forget the questions.

As I am in his presence I sought his help and I am putting on the full armour spoken of in Ephesians. I will continue to drink of his love.

“Lord give me focus, discernment and clarity, with courage to move forward with you. Help me to face what I need to face, even in my own garden. Lead me in truth and love. I have no home, no destination , no purpose apart from you. You are my destination! Lord, I will continue on, correct my movement that I might not stray from your path. Correct any missteps. I humble myself before you! For I will please you! Not by power, not by might, but by your Spirit!” “Amen!”, we both say in turn.

  • You Provide for the Birds!

    You Provide for the Birds!

“Lord, has the storm passed yet?” “No!” Is it brewing inside my home or outside?” “It is brewing outside.” “Help me be in alignment with you and my household to be in unity. Give us wisdom, grace, love, stability, clarity, truth, joy and help!” “I will do these and more!” “Thank you! You are my source!” “How do I pray about the storm and the people used?” “Pray for peace and pray in the Spirit!” “Is there anyway to speak to my household in order to prepare them?” “Not yet.” “Pray for strength, love, and truth for them. Pray for me to supply all their needs according to my riches in glory.” “Amen Lord!”

As I was writing I looked up and saw a bird land near my house outside and so I said: “Lord that little bird that just landed outside my home Is a reminder that you provide for the birds and you will provide for me and my house. I trust you! Now let’s get to work on what you have for us today!” “Yes daughter, let’s!”

  • You Will Have to Decide!

    You Will Have to Decide!

I look down and all I see is our arms and hands folded over one another’s. I look up and over and there is my love. “I love you!!” And we sit and drink of love. He has no need of speaking, for I am bathed in his love!”

You will have to decide Krista, either I am enough, and more than, or I am not.” “I have heard and seen and know what I have asked and am asking.” What do you say today my love?” “Lord today I smile and say, you have been enough. Forgive me, I listened to lies and others telling me it was impossible, but I repent. I resign up for the road ahead! You are more than enough! There is a dying to self and others ideas, that I am doing today in a greater way. I know that you have not given me more than I can handle, but without you it is impossible. Carry on with me, and in greater ways. I set the sorrow aside and I look to you for the rewards of fulfilling your purposes. Thank you for making me to serve you!!!”

  • Thank you!

    Thank you!

“Lord?”, I say as I walk into the garden and up behind the Master Gardener who is sitting on the park bench. “Good morning, I love you,” I change my mind from a question to a statement. “Thank you for training and teaching me this morning.” With a big smile on his face he replies, “You are welcome!” “Would you help me with the pruning and containment of the plant you where speaking to me about yesterday?” “Yes, but first sit and enjoy the garden with me!” “Yes Lord, and I will enjoy your fragrance too!” We are sitting on the bench together now and we smile and lean in to embrace.

  • The Winds Have Blown!

    The Winds Have Blown!

Lord, on this day of rest, it has been a struggle. I began the day with the realization that I could no longer be torn and confused. I have entered rest, but what is the next step. Am I moving forward, though there has been some back and forth? “Yes, it is a hard thing to face and come out of Krista.” “Lord would you receive my love and my care today!” “Yes!” “Would you be to me all that I have walked away from?” “Yes!” “Ok, then I can do this!” “Will you strengthen me, give me clarity, and joy for the road ahead?” “Yes!” “I guess I need to leave the old life behind and who I thought I was to be.” “Yes, you do! However, I will also surprise you with more!” Follow me today!” “Yes Lord!” The winds have blown through this garden and what was to remain is all that is left. It is small, for now Lord, help me to be good with small.” “I am!”

  • I will Certainly Follow You!

    I will Certainly Follow You!

“Lord lead me today. I yield. Help me not to be busy or cause those around me to be busy with things that keep us from obedience.”

“Lord I have picked some flowers for you this morning! Fruits of our labor!” I hand them to him and he smiles. “Thank you Krista.” I return the smile. “Lord, I love you. I am ready for the work you have for us today. I receive your instructions, your will.”

“I let go of the plans for my life and families today. I let go of controlling or knowing anymore than you want to give me Lord. I will continue to keep my eyes on you and I will certainly follow you!

“Is it enough and ok Lord, if all I have to offer today is surrender and my yes?” “Yes, Krista, this is all I need today!”

  • Joy for the Journey

    Joy for the Journey

“Good Morning Lord!” (As I stepped into the center of my garden I left behind my worries, my concerns, and overwhelming emotion.) I turned my eyes to Jesus and realize he is brilliant in white. “Lord you are beautiful!” He said,” Take my hand this morning Krista.” There is an importance, an urgency , a command, concern, and love, to name a few of the intentions behind his speaking. I take his hand and bind my being, my soul, my mind, all of me to him. “I am going your way Lord. Fill me Lord, with your love, guide me in your truth.” Then he says: “It is not an easy path I ask you to take. I need you to listen to me and I need you to follow.” “Yes Lord! Will you help me? You know my weaknesses. Will you empower and embolden me to be the person you have always seen? I see it too, but can not sustain it, or achieve it even, on my own. Help me to lean on you instead of myself!” “I will, Krista, I am!”

Just before going into the garden this morning, I had a weight of care and emotions concerning others. I realized I could not get into the center without letting it go, trusting it all to God, and laying it all down. After doing this, the entire garden just faded away and the brilliance of Jesus and his presence is all I could see and experience!

“Lead me today Lord. Show me all you need me to see. Lead my decisions, grant me clarity, discernment spiritually, and stability in emotion and more, to take the road ahead and keep moving forward!” “I will and I am!” “Thank you Lord!

A few minutes past and the Holy Spirit brought up in me something I needed to ask for and receive: “Would you give me joy for the journey Lord?” “Yes!,” and he smiled as he spoke. So now I breathe in your presence and am filled with all I need!
