    Life gets better!

“Let it rain…open the flood gates of Heaven. Good morning Lord!”, I sing as I come into the Center of My Garden. “Good morning. Shall we dance?” “oh yes!” Before I even finish my reply he has swept me off my feet! Wow how amazing and wonderful. We dance and smile, with added laughter. It is wonderful!

Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say Destroy!’

There are ties to be cut from narcissistic systems and this takes some working through. There are those who must go and some who may stay. It is a spiritual battle first and foremost. It is important to keep working on the correct boundaries and cutting the ties either way. I found it can seem confusing when people aren’t used to the boundaries and you’re trying to remain unbitter and faithful to God and others. It is possible to do and takes time and patience. Without giving excuse there are some who God may require from us what we may not want to give, he will ask us or show us and we should let that be up to Him, non else. In our battle against the enemy we must remember he often uses the weakest links. If we carry on learning and applying the boundaries those who will stay will stay and if and when God sees that the time has come for a removal for purpose to be fulfilled then He will provide a way. If we focus on God and what He is doing in us life gets better either way! I am glad He never gave up on me, and that makes me glad and hopeful for all, that God will not give up on them. It is simply giving up the lies and enabling practices, basically letting Him be the Savior! He does a better job than me!!!

    I will live!

I allow my smile to widen as I enter the Center of My Garden. “Good morning Lord, My Captain!” He smiles and as he whispers his love to me he pulls me in and holds me. And my entire being begins to let go and rest. The tension is melting and all cares fall away. I just need his presence. I receive his love. Then I sing.

“Lord I come with a need, I ask for truth, wisdom, and your mind on the matter. I place it at your feet. “Leave it there, my love. I understand. Trust me. I am working.” “Yes Lord. Shall we do some fresh planting today Lord?” “Yes, let’s! And let’s enjoy the day the Father has given us and smile a lot today.” Yes Lord!”

Matthew 5:14,16 14You are the light of the world, A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

I realize why it was so hard to admit, it felt like I was abandoning others, and if they need to be let go, it felt as if I was abandoning myself. It didn’t feel safe, but it is! What will happen if I let go? I will live! In the quest to be free of the narcissistic system, I found a couple of my “closest” relationships needed some new boundaries. This has been a process. They began well, not perfect. At first I thought it was only immaturity and they needed healing in their lives. I found proximity doesn’t mean I should trust and that the closeness was manipulation and not mutual love. Sometimes those we love and care for need to be allowed to make their choices and be let go of. The freedom of choice is key for all. How hard it can be to let go. Sometimes things start good and become sour. Pretending becomes the enemy. I must see. I will trust. I have and am letting go. The change that is taking place while in the midst of it, is one of those lessons that isn’t fun, but producing in me what the Master Gardner knows he needs for and from me. And again I say: “I am not confused, I just need His help!” As I let go, I will fly! And they can, if they choose to. It is abandoning the cycle that keeps all tied to everything but destiny and true life.

  • Letting go!

    Letting go!

“Good morning Lord, deep calls to deep. Let your waves of mercy, grace, and truth crash over me today.” I drink in his presence. I have come to the center of My Garden to be with the Master Gardener and receive and work with him. “Move in me today, my love, move with me. Come close, let us drink of love. Refinement and new movement are on todays list.” “Yes Lord, I am looking to you for my ques today.” “Let us move into the day.” The scripture coming to mind is Proverbs 19:27: There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel- that will stand.

Letting go is sometimes the only thing we can do for ourselves and another. I have spent far too much time in the way of God and given far too much to be used against me in my life. Sometimes relationships start out good and go sour. Ouch, but better to boundary up as soon as possible, than to wait and add to the pain and confusion.

    Don’t Look for Comfort Alone!

I am preparing myself as I come into the Center of My Garden. I have asked the Holy Spirit to ready me. After all, I am meeting with the King and Master Gardener and I want to receive and fully be with him. I am putting on garments of praise, purity, and humility. I am adorning myself with quietness, trust, and the peace he has given me. And I put on a smile. “Good morning my Lord, I love you and how beautiful you are!” “Good morning my love!” We enjoy the fragrance of unity! “Purify my heart today Lord! Lord, I am concerned about betrayals and giving to the wrong people. I am desiring to face the truth, which is you, and see clearly with keener discerning of spirits and have proper boundaries. You have been speaking to me to treat people well regardless of what they do, for you see. I just don’t want to have improper ties, beliefs, or boundaries. I ask for wisdom with emotional stability and I let go!” “Thank you this is wisdom daughter. All will be well, keep following me and trusting my plan and process. Don’t look for comfort alone. I will lead, teach, and equip you to do all I need you to. Will you trust me?” “Oh yes Lord, only I need your help!” “You have it!” “Lead me in the work in my whole garden, let us make it the way that will invite your Glory more!” And we get to work!

In the midst of a storm, in the middle of the night, I was reminded that the storm is not to be my main focus. Yes it is here, but my focus is on who is with me in the storm, Jesus. I got up singing “Dance like the weight has been lifted…” and believe me I did and continue to dance! My psalm today is 60, verses 4-5 stood out to me: You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah That Your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and hear me. The next, verses 11-12: Give us help from trouble , for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies. What promises we have from God, what wonders he shows through our lives!
