  • Instruction!

    Instruction!

“Good Morning Lord,” I say with a big smile. I look up into his eyes. “Good morning,” he smiles back. At the sight of his eyes and smile and I am put even more at ease, even in my body. Thank you for your touch, and your guidance. I need greater discernment and wisdom too.” “You are welcome and they are yours.” “I take a moment and receive them. “Lord is there any instruction on the Center of my garden today?” “Yes, pray and continue to prepare by my leading.” “Yes Lord!” “Lord is there any instruction for the personal space in the garden? And what about the outer space in my garden?” “I do have some instruction for those. Will you follow my lead and promptings today?” “Yes, Lord.” “Lead on and help me not to be spinning my wheels on distractions and get myself off on what you are not building and doing!” “I will” And it is time for coffee and fellowship before the days work begins.

  • Steady on!

    Steady on!

“Good morning Lord.” “Good Morning Krista.” We share a smile. “What needs attention today?” I noticed I have had need of encouraging myself. “Help me not to quit. Help me to quit on the ways that are not helping or yours!” “I am and will continue to!” “Thank you! You are working all things for my good!” “Yes!” “Lord I yield the plan for my entire garden to you. Give me the wisdom and steps for the Center, the personal and the outer part of my garden. Now what do you have for us to do today?” “Let us continue on in all the good works we have been doing. Steady on, my joy is your strength!” “Amen, thank you Lord- Yes!” And as I get back to work I am grateful the Master Gardener is working with me!

  • Let’s Walk!

    Let’s Walk!

I step into the Center of my Garden and the Master Gardener takes my hand, as I offer mine. “Let’s walk today Krista.” “Yes, Lord,” and I smile with reverence. “You are working all things for my good.” “Yes, I am! Will You trust me?” “Yes, Lord, but I need your help in this. There are blind spots, left over co-dependencies, and more. I surrender these to you. Will you continue to teach me, to deliver me? I need wisdom and love to oversee my entire garden. I so want to know you deeper Lord!” “Yes, I see, follow me!” “Yes Lord” And I take another step in faith in the way he is leading me.

  • So this is love!

    So this is love!

I am coming into the Center of my Garden to meet with my Lord. As I walk I am preparing myself. I want to be ready to hear and see and still enough to just be with him. Then I am preparing for the Master Gardener’s instructions for the day. As I enter I bow, “Lord I yield to you today.” I pause a moment with head bowed. “Peace to you my child,” he says. I receive it and look up. “Let us drink of love this morning.” “Yes Lord.” I sing the last line of a song from my childhood, “So this is love!” And indeed it is! Jesus is the love of my life. He is the one who came and found me at 5. He has been the one overseeing the growth in me. I was never really alone through my own faltering or others. When all was lost he made a way. He heals the damage inflicted on us by this world. He never intends to leave us in disrepair or our chains. Like me and my garden, he has a good plan for your life. Today, won’t you invite the Master Gardener in to set your garden in order? His hand is extended toward you too!

  • Let Go, Don’t Worry, Breathe!

    Let Go, Don’t Worry, Breathe!

“Lord, what shall we do today?” “Let go, don’t worry, breathe and rest, and pray!” “Ok Lord,” and I laugh. “I love being with you! You are wonderful! I love you and I trust you!” “Let’s walk on a while,” the Master Gardener says, while taking my hand, And we walk on together.

This was my encounter with the Lord today. We can be in the midst of change and difficulty and walk in joy, strength, clarity and peace, but not alone. I pray you would walk with Jesus today and that you would have his help in all you do today!

  • A Big Embrace!

    A Big Embrace!

A big embrace is the start to the new day in the Center of my garden. “Good morning Lord!” “Good Morning Krista,” the Master Gardener replies. “I need you, I want you, guide me today!” ” “I am and I will,” he smiles at me. “I let go of control and I will put my hands to the work you have for me!” “Good, shall we get started then?” “Yes Lord, let’s!” “Ok let’s start by praying for the peace of Jerusalem!” “Amen”, and we do!

After praying a while, I realized the prayer got me ready for the rest of the work. And as I sat on the park bench that the Master Gardener had placed recently in the garden, a wonderfully surprising thing happened and a new era of my life has begun and all I can say is He loves me! He loves you too! Spend some time with him and find out!!!!!

  • You are the Brightness Lord!

    You are the Brightness Lord!

“Good morning Lord!” “Good morning!” “The sun is shining in our garden today!” “Yes, it is bright today!” “You are the brightness Lord!” “True,” he smiles.

Later on I asked about what I am facing currently. “Lord is there anything I can do or is there nothing I can do further? Is there something I am not seeing?” “There is nothing more for you to do. Keep standing and let go!” I have this!” “Yes Lord! Again, help me!” “I am!” “Thank you Lord!!!” “You are most welcome!” I take my hands off and I trust you! And, I will not give up, but surrender to you!” “Good idea!”

  • Pressure is Raising You

    Pressure is Raising You

    “Lord, how is it that python got into my garden?” “Pray.” “Yes Lord!” This scripture was brought to my attention while in prayer: Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Much later: “Lord?” “Yes Krista?” “After getting the python out of the garden there was a lot of pressure, and I mean a lot!” He chuckled a little and said, “Yes Krista, quite a bit” “Is that growing, is that the process of my freedom? Is it the pressure as the storm is building?” “The pressure is raising you up higher and will take you above the storm. Let it continue!” “Yes Lord, thank you!” “You are welcome sweetheart!”

  • You Provide for the Birds!

    You Provide for the Birds!

“Lord, has the storm passed yet?” “No!” Is it brewing inside my home or outside?” “It is brewing outside.” “Help me be in alignment with you and my household to be in unity. Give us wisdom, grace, love, stability, clarity, truth, joy and help!” “I will do these and more!” “Thank you! You are my source!” “How do I pray about the storm and the people used?” “Pray for peace and pray in the Spirit!” “Is there anyway to speak to my household in order to prepare them?” “Not yet.” “Pray for strength, love, and truth for them. Pray for me to supply all their needs according to my riches in glory.” “Amen Lord!”

As I was writing I looked up and saw a bird land near my house outside and so I said: “Lord that little bird that just landed outside my home Is a reminder that you provide for the birds and you will provide for me and my house. I trust you! Now let’s get to work on what you have for us today!” “Yes daughter, let’s!”

  • Thank you!

    Thank you!

“Lord?”, I say as I walk into the garden and up behind the Master Gardener who is sitting on the park bench. “Good morning, I love you,” I change my mind from a question to a statement. “Thank you for training and teaching me this morning.” With a big smile on his face he replies, “You are welcome!” “Would you help me with the pruning and containment of the plant you where speaking to me about yesterday?” “Yes, but first sit and enjoy the garden with me!” “Yes Lord, and I will enjoy your fragrance too!” We are sitting on the bench together now and we smile and lean in to embrace.
