    Let go Now!

“I will enter your gates with thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter your courts with praise…”, I enter with a song and gladness of heart. “Good morning my love.” “What are we about today Lord?” “There is pruning to do and a little sowing too. Let go now of what you expected and I am leading you!” “Yes Lord!” And we get to work!

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Today I had to let go further of what wasn’t working in my vertical garden. The good news is what I recently planted is working. So I let go what needed more sun and I am trying something I planted before in one pocket and a container. I also planted more of what is working. I just had to let go further. It is okay and I am pleased. It may have taken 3 rounds of planting, but I feel like it is good for my area and circumstances. I had not ever had the pleasure of growing where I live and it is shade so I have had much to learn and I am. Being patient with myself, but constant is also needed in my life. Good life lessons!

  • A fresh Sowing!

    A fresh Sowing!

“Good morning Lord. It is a bright and cheery day!” “Yes my love,” he smiles and chuckles. “Lord The Center of My Garden looks different. It has been pruned more than I originally thought we would do.” “Yes, there is change and there is growth.” “True, I am excited for the summer blooms!’ “Me too! Shall we continue our work?” “Yes!” And we set off to water and plant.

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

The vertical garden I have has gone through a big change. I found that there is not enough light for even the partial shade plants to grow. A fresh sowing of seeds has already taken place and I am hopeful for the new growth. I will have to be patient. I have been able to keep a few plants and hoping to see some better results from them, but time will tell! It took me a few days to uproot what was planted, I did not want to begin again, but I would have lost a lot of time and more resources and it is okay.

  • Rise Above!

    Rise Above!

“Good morning Lord! I came here this morning with an emotional limp. I have decided to look away from it and seek you for all. Now I forgive, myself first, then another. Now I choose your better way and maturity with healing. Now I choose to rise above and be your daughter. Now I choose the life you have for me. Now I choose that abundant life you paid for. Now I choose you Jesus! I choose you!” As I spoke more and more the Lord began to laugh with joy!

‘You turned my morning into dancing!” “Yes I did. That is what happens when you look to me and let go!” “Hallelujah!” I have laughed then cried from joy. What an unexpected relief. I am gonna breathe in this moment a while. Once again the Master Gardener has surprised me with delight. I sing: “I’m yours Lord, everything I have…” “Let us continue our work in the garden Krista. There is much pruning needed, follow my lead, I will show you.” “Yes Lord!” And we set back to work.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

It took some more struggle and wrestling as the morning went on. Pruning has been done and clarity has come. Life changes and the Master Gardeners help is needed to begin again, new. I had to stay close all day for I could not tell on my own what needed the pruning and how to let go! It is more than trusting in him, it has been trusting his plan too!

  • Rearranging for the New

    Rearranging for the New

A lot of rearranging for new furniture and assignments has gone on in my house for the last month. Today was extra busy in the preparations for the new. It is new assignments and things to put our hands too. Sometimes it takes a lot of tries to find the most functional spot for things in our homes and lives. It is worth the effort and time, for when things are in order the new direction and furniture can come. It isn’t the most comfortable thing to do and can be a challenge to fit the old that needs to be kept and put it where it will become the most complimentary to the new assignments and furniture. It did not begin with the means or ideas of the new, no it began with letting go. It began with tidying up and making way, it began with not as much to do. Each day has brought a new step, idea, more direction and a key piece of furniture, finally. I have been uncomfortable, but filled with joy! I am embracing the new, watching and listening closely for direction, and letting go at the same time! May you move forward in expectation today friend!!!
