9/29/26 “Good morning my King, my Husband, my Friend.” I bow. “I love you, I bring a sacrifice, my heart.” He smiles, closes his eyes and breathes in. He accepts my sacrifice. I sit down at his feet and lean into him. He strokes my hair. I will linger here for a bit. I sing to him. “I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Lord what is on your agenda for today?” “Let us strengthen the boundaries and establish further, the borders. Let us remove the temporary ones and establish true, firm, permanent ones. And let us rejoice and enjoy the work!” “Yes Lord,” I smile, “Do lead on!” And we are off!
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
I find myself in need of revisiting this encounter today and taking the scripture above to heart again. It requires me to turn to him for the wisdom I need, for the truth, and patience with all, even myself. “Lord, I am not wise enough, discerning enough on my own, and I do not want any victimhood to remain. So today, will you lead me in this again? Thank you I need you! Let me be lead by the Spirit today!”
