Sweet to be Counted a Friend!

“Holy Spirit you are quiet this morning, or is it stillness?” It has made me draw closer and pay attention. I have a pleasant smile on my face and in my heart. “I anticipate your touch this morning.” The stillness of the Holy Spirit is what lead me to press in and look and listen closely. It eventually entered my physical surroundings to were there was no sound outside, not even a passing car.

After a pause I enter the Center of my Garden. “Good morning Lord, I love you!” “I love you,” he says with depth and passion. “Lord, is there a tear in your eye?” “Yes, Krista, there is.” Would you share what is on your heart with me? Is there a better question I should ask of you this morning?” “Pray!”, he commands. “Yes Lord!” We have been tilling the ground while we speak. And I get stuck in and join him at a more focused pace.

As the Lord spoke to me today I had the knowing that I was to begin by praying for the peace of Jerusalem, this was the first thing on his heart. Then I moved into other places and peoples and prayed for various things. I got a personal point to pray on next and as I listen I know there will be more. It is wonderful to partner with the Master Gardener. And how sweet to be counted a friend. May we continue to grow that we might mature into great friends of our Lord!

    Instruction!

“Good Morning Lord,” I say with a big smile. I look up into his eyes. “Good morning,” he smiles back. At the sight of his eyes and smile and I am put even more at ease, even in my body. Thank you for your touch, and your guidance. I need greater discernment and wisdom too.” “You are welcome and they are yours.” “I take a moment and receive them. “Lord is there any instruction on the Center of my garden today?” “Yes, pray and continue to prepare by my leading.” “Yes Lord!” “Lord is there any instruction for the personal space in the garden? And what about the outer space in my garden?” “I do have some instruction for those. Will you follow my lead and promptings today?” “Yes, Lord.” “Lead on and help me not to be spinning my wheels on distractions and get myself off on what you are not building and doing!” “I will” And it is time for coffee and fellowship before the days work begins.
