  • Once wasn’t Enough!

    Once wasn’t Enough!

“Good morning my King!”, I smile. “Good morning Krista!” “Let us look at the progress in the garden this morning before we get to work.” “Yes Lord, oh what a joy that will stir up!” “Indeed.” And we begin to look right around us. What beauty and growth we see!

I was reading Esther 2 this morning and when I got to verse 19 I read it and stopped to ponder. It dawned on me that our heroes faced more than we realize. They had breakthroughs and accomplished much for the Lord, but they went through things that took courage and focus and trust that God was and is good in the midst of the struggles. I never realized that after Esther had been promoted to queen, the King did the whole thing over again, but this time it wasn’t for a new queen. Once wasn’t enough for the king. So before going before the King and helping to save her people, she was living in a time and place where her husband was continuing to rack up the count of his wives. I just wanted to bring it up to tell you to keep going. God is good and it is important for each of us to finish our race and rebuilding of the wall that has been given to us. We are not alone and we can do all things through Christ! We don’t have to have a calling that looks like anyone else and we don’t have to make sense of it all, just trust him and follow him.

Esther 2:19 When virgins were gathered together a second time, Mordecai sat within the King’s gate.

  • Joy of the Lord!

    Joy of the Lord!

“Good morning Lord. Would you share your heart with me?” “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!” And I do! “Would you help me to stop watering and sowing in the wrong spaces.” “Yes, Krista!” “I let go, I trust you and I will follow you! I see I need the process, Lord, not just the outcome.” “Yes, you do.” “Then I yield, I choose to be patient with myself.” “Follow me into this day and let us get to working in the garden,” he smiles. “Yes, Lord,” and I look over and realize how grateful I am the Master Gardener is here always guiding and helping me.

Today I am working on allowing the space to be filled by trust and patience. I am no longer seeking to just fill the space and rescue. It doesn’t feel familiar, but it is peace and there is a stillness and I will continue to get used to it. I pray your joy is full in Christ today.

Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

  • Growth and Beauty!

    Growth and Beauty!

“Good morning Lord!” As I walked into the Center of My Garden I was helped on with a shear shawl. It was preparation and to remind me of my status with the Master Gardener- the King, a symbol of authority. I walk in humbly, with confidence and a smile. He smiles and takes me by the hand. “What are we working on today?” “Growth and beauty. I see you have put on your robe of humility, daughter.” “Oh yes Lord!” “Things did not go as you expected, that is okay. Keep following me and trusting me,” he smiles. “I am doing a good work in you!” “Yes Lord you are!” And we begin today’s work.

If you find yourself, like me, a bit uncomfortable in the process he has you in, it is okay. Do not give up and be encouraged and strengthened.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

  • Resources!

    Resources!

“Good morning Lord.” “Good morning.” ” Lord, I want to live truth. What is wisdom for me, my whole garden, to move forward? Where do I set resources and where do I withhold? What needs to change in me and how might I please you?” “You do please me, trust me and follow me!” “Yes Lord!” And I take his hand and the bouquet of roses he has handed me and in joy we walk in the garden.

I have had practice and answers today, I will keep trusting and following him. I hope you will too!

I hear the Spirit saying: Rejoice for the steps of a righteous man, they are ordered by the Lord. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.

  • Resistance is Futile!

    Resistance is Futile!

I step through the hanging limbs with leaves and blossoms, into the Center of My Garden. It is filled with his light! I smile, “Oh good morning Lord.” I place my head on his shoulder, (I had quickly sat beside him). “Lord I am filled with courage, with love, and joy, this morning.” “Yes, you are and waves will continue to come over you and wash away the gloom and pain of “yesterday”. ” “Thank you Lord I receive your refreshing more fully!”

Resistance is futile! It only compels me forward. That is my stance against the pressure of the enemy today. My resistance is effective against him however.

James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

I am prompted by the Spirit and begin to sing: “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness…On Christ the Solid Rock I stand!”

  • oh His smile!/a New way.

    oh His smile!/a New way.

5/17/26 “Good morning Lord, I love you!” “Good morning Krista,” he is smiling at me, oh His smile! “Are you Ready to live and thrive and move in me?” “Yes Lord, I am, help me make the adjustments in order to do this!” “I am, I will! The planting is completed this morning, let us enjoy the whole garden.” “Yes Lord! Lead me on!”

I hear the Spirit saying: If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal there land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 Amen! And so I turn, we turn whole heartedly to you Jesus. We forsake all wicked ways. Heal our land, restore our families- bless our lives! Equip us to reach the children. Have your way in the United States of America and the whole World.

On this national day of Rededication, I rededicate my life, my family, my country The United States of America to God/Jesus, and all our purposes!!! Will you join me?

    Yesterdays post:

5/16/26 “Lord, good morning”- I burst into the Center of My Garden with a smile, “I am eager to work and be with you!” He embraces me, “Let us continue our work today Krista!” And this fills my heart to overflowing! “Yes Lord let’s continue! Speak/reveal the truth in love to me and supply my needs, show me the way in which to overcome the challenges.” And we head out hand in hand.

Our conversation as we walk: “Lord I do not want to continue in the way they are going and I do not want to cater to them anymore. I choose to go alone with you a new way. I can do all things… Give me what I need to do this. Help me Jesus! I need help inside myself and from their schemes. I so forgive them, but I’ll not have it anymore. Will you help me? “Yes Krista,” he extends his hand to me, and I take it. “I will lead you out today, don’t be afraid, will you follow? “Yes Lord I am following!” “Keep your eyes on me and stay close.” “Yes Lord, help me!” “I am!”

I hear the Spirit say: I am my beloveds and he is mine, his banner over me is love. Song of Solomon 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

  • The Truth

    The Truth

I step into the Center of My Garden with a smile. The Master Gardener is waiting for me. “Good morning Lord!” Good morning Krista! Today we will continue to work on boundaries and we will plant.” “Thank you Lord!” “You are most welcome!” “Can we sit and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the love in the atmosphere, (it comes from him)? ” “Yes,” he smiles and we sit a while.

I heard the Spirit speaking this scripture: Psalm 95:7b-8 Today if you will hear His voice: “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,”

Lord help me/us to face You- The Truth and be set free, set on course. Provide and carry us through needed changes. May we walk swiftly into obedience surrounded by your love, clarity, and provision! Expose. Make the vision plain!

  • I Hear Him!

    I Hear Him!

“Hear I am to worship…”, I sing as I come into the Center of My Garden. “Lord, what is on your heart today? What would you like to say and reveal? I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” He comes over to me and holds me close. I brearhe.

Today I hear him say: “Walk with me, continue to step out afresh, wait on me as I renew your mind and strengthen you. You will hear a voice beside you saying to go to the right or left. Follow me, I got this!”

Isaiah 30:20-21 And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the waters of affliction, Yet your teachers will not be removed into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or the left.

  • Offer my Hand to Him!

    Offer my Hand to Him!

I walk into the Center of My Garden and offer my hand to him to lead me. His hand was already extended toward me, to my surprise. I look up and smile, “I love you,” I say. ” I know,” he smiles. And we walk toward a very lit place of sunshine and joy- nestled between green hills. “What a day this will be Lord lead on.” And he does!

Today the Lord says: “Come away with me my love.” Will you take his invitation? I know I am!

Song of Solomon 2:10-11 My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone!”

  • Carry on in His Strength!

    Carry on in His Strength!

“Good morning Lord! How I love you!” We embrace. I breathe in his fragrance. Love and unity surround us. I take time to smile and just be. “What is on your heart today Lord?” “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” And I do. “You are working all things for my good. Help me to love and prefer you first and wholly.” He smiles. “I will. Let us get to work in the garden, there is much planning and work to be done!” And a sense of joy wells up as we set off to work. “I am going to please you!”

I am standing on the goodness, faithfulness, and promises of God today. It really is satisfying to overcome each day. I pray you would find joy in the journey today and this week. Let us carry on in His strength!
