  • We Will Find Him!

    We Will Find Him!

“Lord, I love you! What are we about today? I pray for the peace of Jerusalem!” “Good morning Krista! Let us move about the garden and working, enjoying, and surveying as we go!” “Yes Lord! I shall not be moved- just like a tree planted by the waters!” “Amen!”, he replies.

As I was doing my ministry video today I was reminded of Jeremiah 21:11 and then the verses through 14 are important. First he reminds us that he is for us and has great plans, then he tells us to call on him and pray to him. He goes on to tell us that when we seek after him with our all, we will find him! He then says he will lead us back from the captivity that we had been lead into. Many times we, like children looking down and walking while playing, can wander from him. Let us take him up on his promises and fully return to him so he can fully return us where we belong. After Jeremiah I was asking what was on the Lord’s heart and I was lead to Isaiah 30:15: For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” But you would not, Let us not be those who would not!

  • Moving Forward Seems Difficult!

    Moving Forward Seems Difficult!

“Good morning Lord and Holy Spirit! I love you! I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. When continuing and moving forward seems difficult, I look to you! Bring sanctification to my emotions with wisdom and stability! I yield to you! Let us continue and carry me when it’s needed.” “I will!” “I loose all bitterness and doubt from my soul! I bind the Father’s love, provision, and strength to my soul. I march on singing a victory song. For I am seated in heavenly places with you!”

  • Those Who Afflict You!

    Those Who Afflict You!

“Lord it is a new and good day!” “Yes my daughter!” “It is full of adventure and life,” I continue. “I pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Will you guide me today and help me to not look back, to be patient and steady and walk straight into acts of obedience swiftly?” “Yes, daughter you got it! Let us work together in the garden, it will be a lovely and fruitful day!” “Amen Lord, thank you!” He smiles and we get to work.

Isaiah 50:21-23 Therefore please hear this, you afflicted, And drunk but not with wine. Thus says your Lord, The Lord and your God, Who pleads the cause of His people: “See, I have taken out of your hand The cup of trembling, The dregs of the cup of My fury; You shall no longer drink it. But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, Who have said to you, ‘Lie down, that we may walk over you.” And you have laid your body like the ground, And as the street, for those who walk over.”

  • Uproot what is Languishing!

    Uproot what is Languishing!

“Good morning Lord,” I smile. Good morning Krista.” “Would you trust me and follow my lead today?” “Yes Lord!” “Then let us get to work and enjoy the light!” “Yes Lord!”

I have been following his lead today. I have gained insight into some areas of my garden where I thought I was struggling with wisdom in. I found I have had all the intel I need, I just needed to not let attachment keep my energy on something that didn’t work. So the new came and I decided to let go of the languishing plant.

Joshua 24:14 “Now therefore fear the Lord, serve him in sincerity and in truth and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord.” As Joshua was getting ready to pass on he was encouraging the people to serve the Lord. It is important when making a transition to leave the old behind and embrace what God is building. I know this can be more foreign to some, I know I have struggled with it, but I am finding that I have the information I need, I just have to stop keeping myself small and putting energy where the Master Gardener is not planting or into things he is not building. Sometimes he tells me and sometimes I am shown. Better to let go and uproot what is languishing, then the new can spring forth and out! Some looked back and even served old gods, but as the next verse declares at the end: As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

  • Stay Close to Me!

    Stay Close to Me!

“Good morning Master!” ” Good morning my love.” “I will need your help to grow in this time.” “Yes, you will and you will have it. Only stay close to me.” “Yes Lord, thank you! Lord take my hand and walk with me.” “I have taken your hand in mine and I will carry you at times too.” “Yes Lord, thank you. My eyes and my full heart are on you!”

You showed me yesterday that I will need help to not get derailed on this next turn. Help me stay on track. Let my whole life bring you Glory!” “What work shall we do in the garden? “Let us rest and pray and do some maintenance, then the pace will quicken.” “Yes Lord.” I am wearing a broad brimmed sun hat and I have a pair of secateurs in my hands for pruning! It is a leisurely start to this day, but with intent, determination and because the Master Gardener is here, there is much joy!

Isaiah 50:7 “For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set my face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.

  • We are Off!

    We are Off!

I have just asked the Master Gardener to meet me in the center of My Garden. “It is a lovely bright day Lord!” “Yes it is!” What will todays events entail?” I must say that before I could ask this, I had looked up to see him wearing a fisherman’s yellow rain hat and slicker! Ha ha ha, this made us laugh and smile!” “Lord you bring joy!” “Yes!” It is then I realize there will be rain, there will be joy and adventure! I am putting on my pink slicker and hat to match! “I am ready Lord! Let’s go!,” and we are off!

Perhaps there are “fish” to catch and bring in. That is one of the important fruits to be gathered in that is chief in the Master Gardeners mind!

  • Happy Resurrection Sunday!

    Happy Resurrection Sunday!

“Lord Happy Resurrection Sunday! Thank you for dying and rising from the dead!” He smiles, big and warmly, “You are most welcome!” “It is finished Lord!” “Indeed!” “It is a day of rest and celebration now!” “Yes it is!” “Lord thank you for showing me weak areas in me yesterday! And for shoring me up! Help me not to get ahead of you!” “You are welcome and I will help you!” “Thank you! Feast with me today Lord, on love and a bit of food!” And we do!!!

I came to my garden a little later today. It was a good time with him. I hope you seek Jesus today! I hope you accept his free gift of salvation even more today! Happy Resurrection Sunday! I love you and the Master Gardener does too!

  • Full Circle!

    Full Circle!

“Good morning my King.” He smiles and I am bathed in his love! “Good morning.” “It is a new day my Lord!” “Yes, and he turns his head from looking at me to the direction he wants me to go with him. There has been a glimmer in his eye and up ahead the light glimmers too! I take his hand. “Lord, I am yours Let us go!” And we do!

In my reading today, I read Matt. 25:1-13. It is a parable Jesus taught about the kingdom and the importance of being ready for him. There are 5 wise virgins and 5 foolish. I have determined, a new, that I will be a wise virgin and in doing this, and in light of the scene above, I will leave all and follow my Lord! Master Gardener, use my life for your joy and glory! I am your servant to command. Help me to be obedient. Help me to be available to serve you! I am moving forward with you Lord! And I pray for the peace of Jerusalem!!

As I type this evening, I am brought full circle to my time this morning with the Lord. I am thankful I wrote things down. Some of what I needed to see is difficult and it has brought clarity and taken the sting that might have other wise succeeded in distracting me from going ahead.

  • To Endure!

    To Endure!

Sometimes we have to speak to our bodies or other aspects of our beings and say “Life” and remember what the Word says about us. Christ paid a heavy price for us to walk in wholeness. Of course we have circumstances that are contrary, but they serve to teach us and strengthen us. And I do know there are areas that the Lord will ask us to lay down for him and then we do that and move forward carrying our cross, not alone or in our own strength, but with a mighty Savior by our side.

Today I have had to put my body and soul in its place. I have had to not give voice to its complaints or vices. It is ok to say there is a struggle, but then we need to speak life and take even tiny steps to move it along. I have had to stretch my body to work on circulation today. I wonder what it is for you. Along with this there has been a heaviness that has come in like our weather here. I will not allow it to remain unchallenged though. God is good and he sees us and he has not left us alone. We can cry out for help, wisdom and strength. It is interesting that in the struggle today I have used it humble myself. The stillness has opened my eyes to areas in my own heart that need some work and admitting. No pointing the finger today!

All of this brings me to the scripture I was lead to this morning. I had finished my bible reading and I felt I was to go to James 4-5. I read both chapters and 5:11 really stood out to me: Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord-that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. You can read Job 42 and verse 10 to find his restoration and it was great! God has good in mind for you and I as well. We just need the courage to stand and believe, to endure. I know it isn’t easy. It can be done! It must be done! I need you to surrender to Jesus and remain standing and you need me to do the same! We can have our feelings and falterings, but let us move past it all by the Holy Spirits empowering. He is here for you! I have had to work through so much today just to be able to come and write today. Each part of our being is import to care for. Courage friend to care for yourself today and love those around you! I love you!!

  • An Engine and a Caboose!

    An Engine and a Caboose!

I am entering the Center of My Garden with praise this morning! At the same time I am quieting my soul. There is something that needs to be addressed, but it is not for this moment. I am dancing and praising with my tambourine. There is much rejoicing today. I am joined with others and the Lord is dancing and rejoicing along with us. Even the flowers are rejoicing! I sing: “Our God reigns! The King is in our midst, he is clothed in righteousness and glory. Praise the Lord! We worship you in the beauty of your holiness!”

Originally I had wanted to share more specifics, but it won’t help either of us. Here is what is godd to share today:

I was watching something and I noticed something peculiar, a train had an engine and a caboose and that was it. The engine had one word written on it and the caboose had a couple. These brought meaning to me on a statement I had just made to the Lord. I can not share the statement, only that he answered my statement and questions and that more will be revealed to me further. I worked through some things and a short time later I was shown that small train had a change to it, but this I must keep to myself. There is so much insight for me for now and the future. I pray you would follow his leading and open your eyes to his communication. It makes life far more enjoyable and fruitful!!
